Centre Circle Event Management is a well established market leader in the events industry and take pride in providing the best staff in the business to prestige venues and events. Our experience is reflected in the quality of the training delivery provided to both in-house staff and clients.

Based at The Valley in Charlton, South East London, we have our own fully fitted out classroom and undertake all NVQ staff training to levels 2, 3 and 4. If required, should clients have adequate facilities, we can provide training at your premises.

Spectator Safety Suite of Qualifications:

1st4Sport - Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Spectator Safety (QCF)

The Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Spectator Safety provides a nationally recognized qualification that allows stewards to work any type of live event. This qualification meets the minimum requirements for stewards’ competence as detailed in the Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds(Green Guide). The qualification provides a work-based assessment of the knowledge and competence of a steward.

1st4Sport - Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Spectator Safety (QCF)

The primary target group for the Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Spectator Safety is experienced stewards who supervise and manage steward teams to ensure spectators have a safe and enjoyable experience at the event. This qualification satisfies the qualification requirements for people working, in a supervisory capacity, in licensed venues as in detailed in the Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds (Green Guide). The qualification provides a work-based assessment of the knowledge and competence of a supervisor.

1st4Sport - Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Spectator Safety Management (QCF)

This qualification is for those people working in, or aspiring to work in, senior roles within spectator safety. The Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Spectator Safety Management (QCF) will allow learners to gain a nationally regulated qualification in the area of spectator safety management.

HABC Level 2 Award in Front of Stage Pit Barrier Operations

The HABC Level 2 Award in Front of Stage Pit Barrier Operations is a National Award written and endorsed by HABC. This qualification is outside of the QCF however it could be used as prior knowledge to enrol onto a QCF qualification in the future or to demonstrate Continuous Professional Development within the Spectator Safety industry. This qualification is aimed at those learners working within the live events industry positioned at the front of stage pit barrier.

Security Suite of Qualifications:

HABC Level 2 Award in CCTV Operations (Public Space Surveillance) (QCF)

This accredited qualification is a requirement for those wishing to work as a CCTV Operative. It provides the necessary skills and knowledge to apply for an SIA licence. Subjects covered include roles and responsibilities of CCTV operators, codes of practice, operational procedures and guidelines, CCTV equipment and operation and surveillance techniques.

HABC Level 2 Award for Upskilling Door Supervisors (QCF)

This accredited qualification is an industry requirement for those wishing to work as a Door Supervisor. It provides the necessary skills and knowledge to apply for an SIA licence and work as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry. Subjects covered include behavioural standards, legislation relevant to the role, search procedures, powers of arrest, recording incidents and crime preservation, reducing risk, conflict management and communicating effectively.

HABC Level 2 Award for Upskilling Door Supervisors (QCF)

From 4 February 2013, all Door Supervisors with a pre-QCF qualification (for example the National Certificate for Door Supervision) wishing to renew their SIA licence will be required to pass an ‘Upskilling Door Supervisors’ award.

HABC - Level 3 Certificate in Close Protection (QCF)

This accredited qualification is ideal for those who wish work as a Close Protection Operative within the Private Security Industry and apply for an SIA Licence in this field. It has been developed to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authority (SIA) and provides the learner with the necessary knowledge and understanding of the Private Security Industry.

HABC Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (QCF)

The qualification is designed for those learners already working or preparing to work in industry.

HABC Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness (QCF)

The Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness is a qualification aimed at all staff, particularly new starters in any workplace, where a basic understanding of fire safety is required. Learners gaining this qualification will know that fire safety is the responsibility of everyone in the workplace with recognition of the contribution they may have to prevent the starting and spread of fires.

HABC Level 2 Award in Fire Safety (QCF)

The Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness is a qualification aimed at all staff, particularly new starters in any workplace, where a basic understanding of fire safety is required. HABC Level 2 Award in Risk Assessment (QCF)

This qualification is designed to be an introduction to the principles of Risk Assessment. It covers why risk assessments are necessary, the legal requirements relating to risk assessments and simple processes for carrying out a risk assessment.

HABC Level 3 Award in Risk Assessment (QCF)

This qualification is designed for learners with a responsibility to conduct risk assessments at low risk premises. It covers the principles of risk assessment, the relationship between hazard and risk and requires learners use the knowledge learned on the course by undertaking a risk assessment. Therefore laying a foundation for further development as a risk assessor.

HABC Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (QCF)

The Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace is aimed at supervisors, managers, team leaders as well as individuals wishing to advance their health and safety knowledge.

HABC Level 4 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (QCF)

The Level 4 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace is a qualification aimed at Supervisors and Managers with a direct responsibility for health and safety management. The qualification is intended for learners already working in the capacity of supervisor or manager and those who are preparing to start work at this level.

HABC Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (QCF)

This qualification is designed for those learners already working or preparing to work in industry. Topics within this course are viewed by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) as being significant in maintaining good practice in the safe, prompt and effective treatment of injuries and ill health in the workplace.
